Bear Cat Chipper Shredders are built stronger than the competition using thicker metal, stronger welds, and are bolted together where needed instead of riveted. Bear Cat shredders generally have larger shredding chambers and are equipped with sharpened shredding flails, both these features work to make the Bear Cat a faster shredder. Bear Cat sharpens both edges of their shredding flails & their chipper blades making them reversible for longer life and better performance. Aside from their smallest chipper shredder, Bear Cat employs a belt engagement clutch between the engine and the shredder, this allows for easier pull starting without having to pull the shredder over with the engine and isolates the engine from the hazard of abrupt stops. Bear Cat chipper shredders are built stronger to last longer and are equipped with features to get the job done faster.
